Content - A great song for Y6 children, about to move on to new schools. As they transition from KS2 to KS3, this song poses lots of questions: 'Ever question what your life is for? What's beyond the next exciting door?'
A lovely memorable song that encourages children to see life as an adventure. With its simple structure, 'Ever Wonder' is very easy to teach. The optional harmony part is particularly effective, and there is a great lift with the key change at the end. Recommended for general singing or choirs, but as a unison song it's also very suitable for PSHE and assembly purposes.

Lyrics sample
Ever tried to count the stars at night?
Marvelled at a candle’s flick’ring light?
Seen a flock of birds that swoop in flight
Across the setting sun?
There is always more to see and do
Journeys that are wonderful and new.
All the world is there for me and you,
We have just begun. We have just begun.
Near and far, no matter who you are,
There are new horizons to be found.
So look high and low, wherever you may go.
You can find adventure all around.
