This is the book of the children's musical Bully, which is about Jake - who is fed up of living his life in fear of a gang of spiteful girls. He runs away with his friend Danny, oblivious of the fact that Danny's sister is part of the gang that has been making his life such a misery. A dramatic chain of events unfolds, in which the bullies are eventually confronted and their own weaknesses exposed.  Jake and Danny come to understand that a bully becomes a bully because of their own experiences - and understanding this is the key to bringing about change.
